European Destinations of Excellence is orientated towards safe, beautiful and undiscovered places to visit, to invest and to live in Europe.

We assemble an accurate selection of truly worthwhile properties to buy or to rent as well as a large range of regional products for sale and quantity of useful information about these emerging rural destinations. We are located in the Orseg region and in Moravske Toplice, a famous spa and thermal resort in Slovenia, neighboring two Destinations of Excellence - the Őrség Park in Hungary and Sveti Martin na Muri, in Croatia.

The denomination "European Destinations of Excellence" is a recent pilot project organised by the European Commission in collaboration with the European Union Member States entitled "Best Emerging European Rural Destinations of Excellence".

For the first time in October 2007, ten rural regions have been officially awarded the title of Destinations of Excellence : Pielachtal (Austria), Durbuy (Belgium), Sveti Martin na Muri (Republic of Croatia), Troodos (Cyprus), Florina (Greece), Őrség (Hungary), Clonakilty District (Ireland), Specchia (Italy), Kuldiga (Latvia) and Nadur (Malta).

These ten regions offer diversity, quality and help de-congestion, combat seasonality, rebalance the tourist flows towards non traditional destinations.

This project is aimed at promoting networking between awarded destinations which could persuade other destinations to adopt sustainable tourist development models and create a platform for the exchange of good practices at European level.
